Jan is currently Deputy Director of the Parenting Research Centre and Manager of the Research and Development team.
Jan has been involved in the tertiary education sector for over thirty years as a lecturer and senior lecturer. Before joining the Centre she was Program Leader for Post Graduate Psychology programs at RMIT University. Jan has also been involved in the areas of teaching and research, and program development including parenting and family intervention, staff training and program evaluation.
Jan has been a manager/principal investigator for a number of research and government grants including projects to develop and trial Signposts for Building Better Behaviour.
Jan is also principal author of five program manuals for parents and professionals, including the Signposts for Building Better Behaviour materials.
Her professional CV includes registered psychologist, and member of the Australian Psychological Society and the College of Educational and Developmental Psychologists.
