We’re proud of our workplace
Every role at the Parenting Research Centre is important to our vision of skilled parenting and thriving children.
We aim to create a positive and rewarding work experience for all employees. We have a strong, positive culture, a commitment to living our values and offering staff a contemporary and flexible workplace.
We were named as a winner in the Xref Engage Awards (formerly Voice Project Awards) in 2021, 2023 and 2025, which recognises workplaces that have excellent management practices and a highly engaged workforce.

Positive, respectful and flexible
We think organisational culture is so important that our staff have created a code of behaviour to guide our work. We’re proud to say this is much more than a document – it’s at the heart of the way we work together. Our code is built on the core values we think should guide how we relate to each other:
- Respect
- Responsibility
- Acceptance
- Positivity.
We also support flexible work arrangements such as job sharing and home working because we believe work-life balance is fundamental to a happy, healthy, productive team. Our teams also gather regularly for purposeful face-to-face work in our modern co-working spaces in Melbourne and Sydney.
